Cutting cost by utilizing Hydraform earthbricks, steel trusses and
exposing services also adds to the aesthetic value of the project. The
innovative use of local materials through replacing the heat retaining and
power intensive concrete with locally made mud bricks, coupled with
wide overhanging roofs designed to resist the rainy season and allow
passive air circulation to cool the building.
